About the event

Growing up in Germany around a grandfather, whose favourite topic was healthy pastures, Stefanie learned early about the importance of plant diversity, healthy soils, healthy foods and how to achieve those.

Whilst living in China she used this opportunity to visit farms worldwide learning about various approaches to sustainability, plant-diversity and healthy food production. Once in Australia from 2000, she  reconnected with the Land, regenerating several properties and putting her expertise into practice.

Stefanie now focuses on teaching Regenerative Land Management in person and online, while managing properties and attending to what she sees as her weakness: cattle herds.

We acknowledge the Bunurong and Gunnai-Kurnai nations and show our respects to the ancestors of Country and the people living today of these tribal nations. We recognise that sovereignty was never ceded and there have been fundamental changes to their culture and will work to restore what we can. We can all honour these ancestors by caring for country and respecting the balance of nature that feeds and protects all living things.
